About the Role:
Join our innovative and committed Privacy Office team at one of the leading Nordic financial institutions. You will support a broad range of privacy-related legal and operational matters across the organization. Working closely with business stakeholders, legal colleagues, and other specialist functions, you will analyze, assess, and advise on privacy topics. The role combines complex legal analysis with hands-on operational work, supporting delivery, quality, and risk management within privacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver independent privacy legal support across various matters.

• Provide clear, practical advice on GDPR and related privacy legislation.

• Assess and manage privacy risks, including conducting or supporting DPIAs and other privacy risk assessments.

• Contribute to operational privacy initiatives and support effective use of internal privacy tools for documentation and reporting.

• Provide high-quality legal input to ongoing privacy matters.

• Collaborate with business, legal, and specialist teams to implement pragmatic, business-oriented privacy solutions.

Requirements:

• Swedish LL.M degree or equivalent European legal qualification.

• Minimum four years of hands-on experience in data protection and privacy, either as an external consultant or in a comparable in-house role.

• Solid knowledge of GDPR and related privacy legislation.

• Ability to quickly understand the client’s operating environment and apply legal requirements in a pragmatic, business-oriented manner.

• Experience in regulated environments, operational GDPR work, DPIAs, privacy tooling, or the financial sector is highly desirable.

• Proven ability to independently deliver privacy legal support, manage cases of varying complexity, and provide clear, practical advice.

• Self-driven, resilient, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities.

• Strong analytical capability, sound judgment, and solution-oriented mindset.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust quickly with stakeholders.

• Able to deliver independently while integrating smoothly into existing teams and ways of working.
