About the assignment:

Our banking client is modernizing its data platform to secure a future-proof foundation. The current on-premise data lake, built on Cloudera-supported Apache technologies (Spark, NiFi, Airflow), needs to be modernized to meet new compliance and regulatory requirements. SEB are seeking a qualified consultant to support the migration to a modern cloud-native architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The target architecture will leverage containerization, managed services such as Dataproc, and infrastructure-as-code practices. As a consultant, you will be part of the team and contribute directly to delivery. This tech stack is currently managed exclusively within the DataOps DCA Tribe.  Your role will therefore be crucial for building a sustainable and compliant platform for the future.

Requirements:

• Apache Spark

• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Apache NiFi

• Python, SQL

• Database management and ETL processes

• Cloudera ecosystem

• Scala
  

Meritorious qualifications:

• Cloud experience

• On-Premise Stack Experience

-                 CI/CD pipelines

-                 Apache Airflow 

• Cloud & Modern Stack Experience

-                 Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially Dataproc

-                 Observability and monitoring tools

-                 YAML, Linux, Windows

-                 GCP Event Hubs, Elasticsearch, Kibana

-                 Command-line interface (CLI) proficiency

Preferred soft skills to be successful in the role

• Flexibility

• Strong English communication skills (Swedish is a plus)
