Proficiency in Swedish and English is required for this position.

Our client is looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to join their team within the Customer Analytics department. You will be part of the Analytics team, a dedicated group of 40 engineers. On a daily basis, you will work within and contribute to a business agile product team. It is essential that you have a strong sense of ownership and are eager to contribute both to the Analytics team and your agile scrum team.

The role involves working with integration and orchestration tools such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks and collaborating closely with business and technical stakeholders.


Key responsibilities include:
-Own delivery of high-quality, secure, and scalable code.
-Participate in code reviews and mentor others.
-Address technical debt and performance issues.
-Platform and FinOps Monitoring.

Collaboration and Alignment:
-Sync and work closely with Solution Designer to ensure effective and sustainable solutions.
-Pair with other engineers.
-Surface blockers to Scrum Master.
-Collaborate with business stakeholders to align with both technical and business requirements.

Development and Integration:
-Design, build, and integrate data from various sources.
-Write complex data queries and create data infrastructure in a simple and efficient manner.
-Take part in the full development cycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and handover.

Data Modeling and Optimization:
-Apply experience in data modeling to design and optimize data structures, ensuring efficient storage, scalability, and performance.

Dashboard and Visualization:
Design and develop Power BI dashboard solutions to enable the business to increase decision accuracy and improve process efficiency.

Cloud Services Focus:
Work will primarily involve cloud services, as Vattenfall uses Microsoft Azure as its cloud platform.

Skills: Technical Expertise:


Skilled in integrating data from various sources using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
Proficient in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-scale ETL/ELT pipelines.
Experienced in data modeling to design efficient and scalable data structures.
Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and data warehouse solutions.
Capable of designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reporting.


Soft Skills:

Strong in stakeholder management, with the ability to align business and technical requirements.
Interested in business-related questions and the insights presented in reports.
Self-motivated and proactive in driving tasks to completion.

Keywords:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years' experience in Data Engineering.
