Location; Solna (Stockholm/Arenastaden) - Minimum 3days at the office per week

As a business‑oriented IT Project Manager working with the companies, you will gain deep insight into their operations, and this will become your unique superpower. You will work closely with the core business to enable knowledge transfer and ensure a strong connection to business processes and expertise. You will be involved in some of our most important IT projects that enable business processes through IT systems, with part of your focus on infrastructure and IT security components. Above all, however, you are an excellent project manager who leads your project team towards the goal—together.


As a consultant, you will be part of an international IT organization and work within the Asset IT Project Management & Consultancy team. We are based in Amsterdam, Kolding, Stockholm, Ringhals, Forsmark, and Luleå. We work closely with the business areas responsible for electricity generation and distribution, where our team supports their most complex and strategic IT projects.
You will independently lead projects in accordance with project governance model, the Project Governance Principles. An important part of your role will be to understand how the business areas work with projects and to combine this with how IT delivers projects. This understanding enables you to create an effective link between business operations and IT delivery. You will also gain valuable insight into the business processes of the respective business units and be able to apply this knowledge in your projects. Many of the projects and requirement documents are documented in both Swedish and English.
The deep technical expertise resides with the project team members, but you use your experience in IT and your understanding of how IT systems and technology can be leveraged to drive projects forward. As our operations are spread across the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Denmark, and Sweden, it is important that you can engage and lead a geographically distributed project team.

Main responsibilities as an IT Project Manager:


Drive projects from concept development to completion: plan, execute, monitor progress, follow up, and deliver projects in line with or exceeding customer expectations
Understand the value and deliverables of the project: capture customer needs and translate them into IT requirements
Manage project budgets and allocate resources
Communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders: customers, solution architects, other IT departments, external suppliers, etc.
Develop, implement, deploy, and manage project plans
Lead and support international project team members through active and engaging leadership
Skills:
At least 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager
Solid knowledge of IT
A genuine interest in the energy sector
Experience in change management
Commitment and a positive attitude towards handling complex tasks
Very good proficiency in both Swedish and English, spoken and written


Meritorious:


Experience from working in large organizations with complex environments
