What will you be doing?

This area is undergoing a strong digitalization trend and transformation with a rapidly growing interest in investing in stocks and other assets. The transformation is based on customer demands of an excellent digital service as well as technology advancements within e.g., use of data, cloud, integration and eco-systems. There is no doubt that being data driven for real is key and data will be the core of future digital services. Our solutions are used both by external customer segments and other domains, with the target to ensure that we have flexible, modern and sustainable solutions, to enable our customers to reach their goals. Your focus will be to support new initiatives and already operational solutions within the Custody & Investment Solution Area in their evolution towards the target architecture and guide others to use the defined architecture in daily development. You will be a vital part of the team that is working with our ongoing Data Journey from an architectural perspective.

Your responsibility will be to:

• Be working as a Solution Data Architect in the Custody and Investment Solution Area.

• Work closely with our Lead Solution Data Architect.

• Be part of the team working in our ongoing initiative Data Journey.

• Be part of the architect team in the Custody & Investment area.

• Be part of the  architect community and interact with other architects in relevant parts of SEB to be able to align and materialize your architecture roadmaps.

• Be a trusted advisor for stakeholders within Business, Business Operations and Technology and be accountable for the architecture to meet client and business needs of Custody and Investment services. To succeed in this role, we believe that you: Educated to degree level in Data and Information Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or relevant industry experience. In addition, the following qualifications are important for this position:

• You’ve seen the development of Data over the years. From Marts and Enterprise Data Warehousing, to Bigdata and Cloud – a lot of the same challenges remain and you’re intent on solving them!

• Your background is in design and implementation of Data Architecture capabilities: Frameworks, Policies, Instructions, Technology Solutions and so on..

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex business requirements

• Proactive attitude towards continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with industry trends

• Strong expertise in Information Modelling at both the conceptual and logical level, including Business Object Modelling (BOM)

• Experience with designing and/or implementing modelling framework(s), including data and information modelling techniques, governance, methodologies and tools

• Experience managing and/or configuring repositories for model outputs, ensuring integrity and usability of model outputs

• Familiarity with relevant financial industry standards as well as information modelling best practices is a benefit

• Proficiency in data modelling tools and familiarity with data integration and implementation of physical data models, data warehousing systems, preferably in cloud • Have a bachelor’s or master´s degree in a relevant field.

• Are pragmatic in your solution ideas when you need to be and can visualize and clearly articulate consequences of various technologies and platforms (both verbally and in written form).

• Possess excellent networking and communication skills both within business and IT.

• Have a strong interest in keeping updated on the trends in the industry and technology and for the Custody & Investment area.

• Are fluent in English and Swedish

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience from working as a Solution Architect at a bank, financial institution or similar

• Excellent communication skills, being able to explain complex topics in an understandable way

• Ability to prioritize and focus

• A quick learner with a hands-on attitude who is willing to take on responsibility and continuously develop

• Excellent analytical skills and able to understand requirements from non-technical internal and external business representatives

• Team player with excellent cooperation skills dealing with different cultures in an international setting

• Knowledge of the Financials sector or Post trade services is a benefit Experience keywords:
