About the assignment:

We are looking for a COBOL System Developer to join our Clients business-critical IPS platform. In this role, you will be a key contributor working closely with the business to design, develop, and test new functionality. The team is facing many exciting changes ahead – with both new features and continued development of the platform.

You’ll work in a collaborative environment where your technical skills, curiosity, and understanding of business needs will make a real impact. You’ll be involved in the full development lifecycle, from requirements to delivery.

We are ideally looking for someone with around 5 years of experience in COBOL development – but if you’re slightly more junior and bring the right mindset and problem-solving attitude, you could still be a great match.

Requirements:

• Strong programming skills in COBOL, SQL and DB2
• Familiarity with mainframe-related tools
• Experience in IT system design and good understanding of business processes

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience from the banking or financial sector
